Manoj Bajpayee will star in a socio-political miniseries, reported The Mumbai Mirror. Directed by filmmaking duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, better known as Raj & DK, the show will be titled The Family Man.

According to the report, the 10-episode series will star Bajpayee as a special agent, who will be seen locking horns with politicians for solving cases. “Raj and DK approached me for this interesting socio-political thriller drama and the sheer number of elements in the series excited me, more so because it is being developed for the small screen,” Bajpayee told the newspaper. “I have seen their zombie-comedy, Go Goa Gone, and admire them as writers and directors. I look forward to work with them.”

While the broadcaster and its remaining cast are yet to be finalised, the producers hope to have series aired in 2018.
