Watch: Christopher Plummer replaces Kevin Spacey in ‘All the Money in the World’ trailer

Ridley Scott’s true crime drama also stars Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Williams.

The new trailer for Ridley Scott’s All the Money in the World features Christopher Plummer as billionaire industrialist J Paul Getty instead of Kevin Spacey, who was replaced in the wake of multiple allegations of sexual misconduct against him.

The movie is based on John Pearson’s book Painfully Rich: The Outrageous Fortunes and Misfortunes of the Heirs of J Paul Getty, which chronicles the story behind the kidnapping of the billionaire’s 16-year-old grandson in 1973. All the Money in the World will retain its original release date of December 22.

When a young John Paul Getty III (Charlie Plummer) is taken by an organised crime ring for ransom, his grandfather, the richest private citizen in the world, refuses to pay up. The 16-year-old’s mother Gail (Michelle Williams), with the help of the billionaire’s associate, a former intelligence officer (Mark Wahlberg), has to race against the clock to save her son.

The first trailer, which came out in September, offered glimpses of Spacey as Getty before revealing his character in a dramatic climax.

Plummer’s Getty is amply featured in the new trailer, but the final sequence featuring Getty has been replaced with a montage that establishes the anguish of the kidnapped teenager and his mother.

Plummer reportedly shot for eight days, and co-stars Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Williams were called back to work on the movie. The reshoots cost around $10 million, about a fourth of the movie’s original $40 million budget, The Guardian reported.

Following multiple accusations of sexual misconduct, Netflix had dropped Spacey dropped from the sixth and final season of House of Cards, and stalled the production of a Gore Vidal biopic, which was meant to feature the actor. Spacey is now reportedly being investigated by the police in London, and is seeking “evaluation and treatment”, his spokesperson said.

Reclining on a bed of satin, the glass-encased phone blends into the folds of the luxurious fabric.

The slimness, seamlessness and solidity of the phone make for a great profile shot.

A stunning design which is IP68 rated water-resistant too, it is as beautiful as it is strong.

We partnered with photographer Gaurav Sawn to create this series. Says Gaurav, “The glass sandwich design looks extremely good and the reflections on the back panel make the phone stand out. This is a phone that is best used without a case. The curved corners were also very comfortable to hold. All in all, really enjoyed shooting this phone!”

While this phone is elegant and crafted to perfection, it is also extremely tough, being protected from scratches with Corning® Gorilla® Glass that stretches all the way around.

You don’t need to sacrifice of performance either. It’s packed with a 2.2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 630 processor and comes with a TurboPower™ Charger which means hours of power in minutes!

For the music lover, this phone is a boon. With simultaneous connectivity of up to four Bluetooth® audio devices at the same time, you can build your own stereo system without worrying about cables.

The dual rear cameras – a 12MP that lets you focus faster and get great results even on dark, cloudy days, and an 8 MP camera, with wide angle lens makes your most ambitious photos look all the more impressive.
