Silambarasan has reportedly joined the high-powered cast for Mani Ratnam’s upcoming Tamil production. The Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan actor joins a cast that is said to include Fahadh Faasil, Arvind Swamy, Vijay Sethupathi, Nani and Aishwarya Rajesh. Actress Jyothika, who is making her comeback in Magalir Mattum, has also been signed up for the untitled movie.
Ratnam’s most recent release Kaatru Veliyidai, the most expensive film to have been released by his production company Madras Talkies, was a box office failure.
