The new trailer of Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos has lots of Ranbir Kapoor in it. The second trailer is also more linear and less madcap than the first one. A story comes into view – Jagga (Kapoor) sets out in search of his missing mentor Bagchi (Saswata Chatterjee), who is supposed to have died but may not have. Pritam’s music accompanies the gorgeous visuals (by Ravi Varman) and the globe-trotting adventures of Jagga and Shruti (Katrina Kaif).
Jagga’s stammer, which he overcomes by singing, also gets its own line: “Bagiche mein kuch phool der se khilte hain, mere words bhi so soke nikalte hain.” Kaif provides back-up but this is clearly Jagga’s (and Ranbir’s) show all the way. The movie will be released on July 14.
