Trailer talk: ‘Madaari’, ‘Star Trek Beyond’, ‘Lights Out’

Irrfan headlines a vigilante drama, the USS Enterprise sets out in search of new adventures, and yet another evil spirit is on the prowl.

The week’s offerings include the Irrfan starrer Madaari, the new Star Trek adventure, and the Hindi dubbed version of Kabali.

Madaari Irrfan stars in and has co-produced Nishikant Kamat’s new movie, about a common man named Nirmal who becomes a criminal. Nirmal loses his son in a tragic accident and swears revenge against the minister who was indirectly responsible. Nirmal kidnaps the minister’s son, inviting the police force on his trail. The movie also stars Jimmy Shergill, Tushar Dalvi and Vishesh Bansal as the young victim of kidnapping.

Star Trek Beyond Justin Lin takes over directing duties from JJ Abrams in the third part of the rebooted franchise. Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldhana, Simon Pegg, John Cho and Deep Roy all return to the roles they played in the first two films. As an alien attack lays low the USS Enterprise, the crew finds itself on an unknown planet where a new adversary lurks. Sofia Boutella plays the alien Jaylah while Idris Elba has signed up for villain duties.

Kabali The latest Rajinikanth movie has been dubbed in Hindi. The movie’s plot has been as closely guarded as the Reserve Bank of India’s gold reserves, but we discern revenge for the death of a loved one as the reason for Rajinikant’s grey-haired Malaysian don to spring back into the game. Directed by Pa Ranjith, the movie stars Radhika Apte as the wife and Dhansika as the daughter.

M Cream Agneya Singh’s 2014 independent feature is finally getting a release. Distressed by a shortage of hash in Delhi, four friends travel to Himachal Pradesh in search of the potent Malana cream variety. The cast includes Imaad Shah and Ira Dubey.

Lights Out The latest supernatural horror film features an evil spirit that stalks Martin (Gabriel Bateman). His sister Rebecca (Teresa Palmer) sets out to investigate the story behind the spectre, who might be Diana, their mother’s childhood friend.

Reclining on a bed of satin, the glass-encased phone blends into the folds of the luxurious fabric.

The slimness, seamlessness and solidity of the phone make for a great profile shot.

A stunning design which is IP68 rated water-resistant too, it is as beautiful as it is strong.

We partnered with photographer Gaurav Sawn to create this series. Says Gaurav, “The glass sandwich design looks extremely good and the reflections on the back panel make the phone stand out. This is a phone that is best used without a case. The curved corners were also very comfortable to hold. All in all, really enjoyed shooting this phone!”

While this phone is elegant and crafted to perfection, it is also extremely tough, being protected from scratches with Corning® Gorilla® Glass that stretches all the way around.

You don’t need to sacrifice of performance either. It’s packed with a 2.2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 630 processor and comes with a TurboPower™ Charger which means hours of power in minutes!

For the music lover, this phone is a boon. With simultaneous connectivity of up to four Bluetooth® audio devices at the same time, you can build your own stereo system without worrying about cables.

The dual rear cameras – a 12MP that lets you focus faster and get great results even on dark, cloudy days, and an 8 MP camera, with wide angle lens makes your most ambitious photos look all the more impressive.
